Lots of traditional character with this ryokan. Clean and secure and lovely garden. Staff very pleasant and helpful.

当館は大正時代に京都で神社などを手掛ける特別な大工さん、建築家の皆様によって建てられました。
日本の伝統のひとつ茶道の精神から生まれた数寄屋作りと呼ばれる建築様式です。２００７年５月には文化庁より福岡市では初の登録有形文化財の指定を受けました。当館には伝統的なつくりの中庭もあり古きよき日本の風情を伝えております。
