Purple Palms Travel Lodge is clean and friendly and a great place to recharge after your flight. With FREE AIRPORT PICK UP AND DROP OFF ! (See below for pick up terms) If you spend one night here and again one night at North South Backpackers Lodge in Pretoria, we'll even take you to Pretoria for FREE. Breakfast is available. We have a swimming pool, lapa (thatched shelter) with bar and entertainment area, book exchange, TV room with satellite TV, video and DVD player and an ever expanding range of movies, large sub tropical garden, braai (BBQ) faciliites and on-site travel centre. Plus we have a fast (ADSL) wireless internet connection. Plus, it's clean and comfortable. The nearest supermarket, bottle store (off license) and chemist (pharmacy), and ATM are 200 metres away and just 1km away is a large shopping centre, with everything else you need. We have various restaurants close by, one which offers a five meat buffet for R33 eat as much as you can. Rooms we have three en suite private rooms, a double not en suite, a three bed room which can be booked privately or is used as a girls dorm. . All rooms have TV's, so you can relax in peace after a long flight. We are situated far enough away from the airport noise but close enough to get you there and back quickly. We are a pick up point for most Kruger safaris ( and if not we'll take you to the pick up point). We also pick up Baz Bus passengers from Shoestrings Lodge free of charge. Our travel Centre has great free advice and we can book accommodation in Kruger National Park, as well as open vehicle safaris, walking safaris, and budget camping safaris and a range of day tours around Gauteng including Pialnesberg National park, Sun City, Soweto, Apartheid museum, Gold Reef City, Ndebele Village, lesedi cultural village, Rhino and Lion Park and Sterkfontein Caves. Plus we can easily organise transfers to local shopping centres or curio markets. Airport pick and drop off terms: Offer is not available for 1 person staying one night in a dorm arriving after 15:00 and leaving the next morning before 10:00.
