Although they claim walls and doors are soundproof, it is not true - I was waken up a few times during the night by drunkards returning from their parties.

It's a nice family house. The only problem we had was wifi password that wouldn't work. However, we could use their computer downstairs.

We stayed 3 days in 4 shared room. There is no indigenous atmosphere in the hostel, it is just a place to go to bed. Nothing prevents you from creating one, though. It was quite cold when we stayed there as only kitchen was heated. We never had any problem with the guy there. You just need to look him up at his room rather than the counter.

In general, the stay was very nice. The staff was very helpful and friendly. There are little events every day that contribute to the nice atmosphere. The only negative thing is that in room 31 we stayed for one night you have an electric water pomp in the bathroom. Each time somebody's using water, the pomp will start. It is like an engine inside the room. Although that's the way many permanent apartments have been set up in Dublin, you may spare your guests of such experience.
