General Group Booking Terms

By making a group reservation through Hostelworld.com you agree to the following terms and conditions as set by Hostelworld.com and as set by the hostel in question.

In order to make a group reservation on Hostelworld.com it is necessary to pay a deposit. The balance is due directly to the hostel according to their payment conditions.
The booking deposit is non-refundable.
Please note that any cancellations must be notified directly to the hostel at least 24 hours in advance of your scheduled arrival date, unless otherwise stated in the hostel's conditions.
Hostelworld.com are not responsible for changes or amendments to your reservation once it has been processed. All correspondence with regard to changes to your booking need to be dealt with directly with the hostel.
Cancellations for reservations must be made directly with the hostel and must conform with the individual hostels cancellation policy (see below)
It is your responsibility to pay the balance of your accommodation cost to the hostel in accordance with their payment conditions (see below). Failure to do so may result in your reservation being cancelled by the hostel.
Individual hostels may have special booking conditions relating to group stays, please read the hostel booking conditions carefully before making your reservation.

Hostel Specific Terms & Conditions

The remainder of the amount due will be charged to your credit card on arrival. Should numbers or room selection change, the per person deposit times the number of people who actually travelled will be deducted from the total accommodation charge levvied by the hostel.

The following group types are not accepted by this hostel: Stag/Hen/Bachelor Party If you have misrepresented the type of group you are booking for, your booking may be cancelled by the hostel."

Any cancellations resulting from agreement to these terms and conditions under false pretences will result in loss of deposit.

Quiet cozy rooms will fill your heart with the warmth of home and comfortable beds will guarantee a sleepful night. Generique Hostel is located in an old building. Thanks to this, the atmosphere entails the images of old books, typing machines, a snug seat by the fire, the glimmer of candles and sounds of an old piano. If you want to feel the slow rhythms of Saint-Petersburg, then Generique Hostel is what you need! There are some free services for our guests. First of all, we offer a Russian breakfast which includes pancakes, waffles and different cereals. Our friendly administrators dish it out at 9 a.m. We also provide our guests with free laundry. You just put your clothes into the basket and get it already washed in the morning. There is free Wi-Fi all over the hostel. We offer you table games and books to relax at your leisure. We also have soft indie music in the sitting room and a common second floor bed where you can make a nest of cushions and have a good warm evening.

Generique Hostel is located in the center of Saint-Petersburg which makes the sightseeing much easier. Mariinsky Theatre is in just 150 m, St. Isaak’s Cathedral is in 800m, Palace Square is in 2 km, the Museum of Art is in 80 m, Yusupov Palace is in 350 m, Central Naval Museum is in 350 m, State Museum of History is in 600 m and the Museum of Russian Vodka is in 700 m. Besides, there are some shops around the hostel. 24 hours shop is in just 50 m around the corner. Spar (food market) is in 550 m, Dixi (supermarket) is in 150 and 200 m. There are some entertaining places: Tyorki bar is in 15 m, Garage Bar is in 90 m, Shemrock bar is 150 m, pub My Friends is in 350 m. There are also some bus stops right next to the hostel. Metro Stations Sadovaya, Sennaya and Spasskaya are in 1.2 km. Metro Station Admiralteyskaya is in 1.4 km.

Generique Hostel consists of a hallway, 4 bedrooms, a sitting room, two integrated bathrooms and a kitchen. There are 2 rooms with 8 sleeping areas and 2 rooms with 5 sleeping areas. Every bed has got a blanket, a pillow, a lamp, two plagues, a surface for personal things and a pack of linens. Moreover, every bed is provided with curtains, which will cover your private space from the eyes of other guests. The kitchen is fully appointed for comfortable cooking and eating. There is a microwave, a fridge, an oven and a stove. We also offer our guests housewares like cups, plates, cutlery, pans and pots so they could cook properly as if it was their own kitchen. There is an electric teakettle, which will ensure a cup of warm tea or coffee. There are 6 sitting places at the table. The guestroom perfectly fits for relaxing. There is a sofa and two cozy armchairs, the bookshelves, an improvised fireplace and the second-floor sitting place with blanket and few cushions. We also have an audio system, a player for vinyl records. There are a lot of books for every kind of reader and some table games for those who want to spend an evening in a good company. The hallway has got clothes hangers and the space for shoes. You can easily leave your clothes there because the hallway is always as clean as the hostel in general.
