General Group Booking Terms
By making a group reservation through Hostelworld.com you agree to the following terms and conditions as set by Hostelworld.com and as set by the hostel in question.
- In order to make a group reservation on Hostelworld.com it is necessary to pay a deposit. The balance is due directly to the hostel according to their payment conditions.
- The booking deposit is non-refundable.
- Please note that any cancellations must be notified directly to the hostel at least 24 hours in advance of your scheduled arrival date, unless otherwise stated in the hostel's conditions.
- Hostelworld.com are not responsible for changes or amendments to your reservation once it has been processed. All correspondence with regard to changes to your booking need to be dealt with directly with the hostel.
- Cancellations for reservations must be made directly with the hostel and must conform with the individual hostels cancellation policy (see below)
- It is your responsibility to pay the balance of your accommodation cost to the hostel in accordance with their payment conditions (see below). Failure to do so may result in your reservation being cancelled by the hostel.
- Individual hostels may have special booking conditions relating to group stays, please read the hostel booking conditions carefully before making your reservation.
Hostel Specific Terms & Conditions
The remainder of the amount due will be charged to your credit card ???? Should numbers or room selection change, the per person deposit times the number of people who actually travelled will be deducted from the total accommodation charge levvied by the hostel.
The following group types are not accepted by this hostel: Holiday with Friends, Junior / Primary School, High / Secondary School, College / University, Business Trip, Stag/Hen/Bachelor Party, Sports Group, Cultural Group If you have misrepresented the type of group you are booking for, your booking may be cancelled by the hostel."
Any cancellations resulting from agreement to these terms and conditions under false pretences will result in loss of deposit.
We are a small Eco-B&B, a place for you to call home while visiting Montezuma. We are now offering a local bio-organic breakfast each morning sourced from local farms in Costa Rica. We are supporting local small scale agriculture of Costa Rica. The breakfast is included in each night stay.

This newly renovated, classy hostel is great for budget travels, families and couples. We currently have three standard dorm rooms, each equipped with new mattress, sheets, fans and lockers. The standard dorm has several newly renovated bathrooms. Cabina Dorm Plus equipped with a private bathroom, balcony, lockers in the room, personal fans, reading lights and USB charges next to each bed. Luz en el Cielo reserves the right to charge you a deposit for your first night stay at any time after you make your reservation. If your reservation will occur during our peak season (Dec.20- Jan. 20th and Semana Santa) or if you have a reservation of five or more guests (dorm rooms only) you will be charged your entire remaining balance as your deposit. All deposits are non-refundable.
Luz en el Cielo’s cancellation policy: No exceptions will be granted for cancelation charges. Any portion of your reservation must be canceled at least 72 hours before 12:00pm (local time) prior to your arrival date. The cancellation must be made either by phone or email, and you must receive a cancellation confirmation email from Luz en el Cielo, in order for the cancellation to be valid. Proper notice of cancellation is made without charge. Cancellations made with less than (72 hours) 3 days notice or which do not follow cancellation procedures will be charged the full amount of the reservation. Special events, peak season (Dec.20th- Jan 20th) reservations, and groups booking blocks of (2) rooms or more ARE FINAL. Guests who cancel these reservations are responsible for payment of the entire reservation charge, regardless of actual arrival or departure date. Luz en el Cielo, reserves the right to cancel or otherwise modify any reservation at its sole and absolute discretion.
All deposits are final. We do not refund deposits. If your plans change and you would like to use your deposit for another check-in date, we require 72 hours notice**. If you fail to check-in or do not notify us at least 72 hours prior to 11AM the day of the reservation, we will no longer apply your deposit to different date. After the 72 hour grace period, no refunds will be issued nor will the deposit be applicable to a different date. Additionally, all reservations of five or more people (in the dorms) or room blocks of 2 or more rooms, are non-transferable after deposit is made. Luz en el Cielo reserves the right to apply your deposit to any part of your reservation (first or last nights). IF you do not arrive on your check-in dated reserve we will apply your deposit to the first night. If you do not inform us of change of check-out date within the required 72 hour grace period, or after check-in, we reserve the right to apply your deposit to your last night.
**Any reservations made for a stay during our peak season (Dec. 20th- January 20th), Semana Santa (Holy Week), all reservations of five or more people (in the dorms) or room blocks of two or more rooms, require deposit of the entire stay. This deposit is non-refundable and can not be applied to different dates. Please inform us in advance of changes in your travel plans so we can do our best to accommodate them.
