Guesthouse Maria

Staying at Maria’s place was a wonderful and convenient experience. First off, Maria is the sweetest! Even though her English is limited, we managed to communicate and she was as caring as a mom. The location is perfect for anyone needing to be close to the bus terminal since the Old Town is a bit of a walk from there. The place was spotless my bed was super comfy. It felt more like staying at home than at a hostel, which was exactly what I was looking for.

Everything was perfect! Maria let us check in a bit early and we were also able to leave our things there after checkout. The room and common areas were clean and the room was air conditioned. It’s a good location, about a 25-30 minute walk to the old town and like a 2 minute walk from the bus stop that takes you to the old town. Maria was also very friendly, kind, and helpful. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Guest House Maria has been a fantastic experience. More a very comfortable Airbnb than a hostel with clean, air conditioned rooms and spotlessly clean bathroom and kitchen. I could live here! The host, Maria, has been very attentive to our needs and has the mist gorgeous young cat, Mala. 5*'s isn't enough and I'd highly recommend it.
