HAKONE TENT

C'est la meilleure auberge que nous avons visité au Japon. Le personnel est très sympathique, les chambres propres, le café et le coin détente sont apprécié, il y a deux onsens (un privé et 1-2 personnes et un autrs pour 4 personnes) les nuits sont calmes et ils fournissent les bouchons pour ceux qui ont le sommeil léger (les murs et les planchers sont en bois). Bref, un auberge superbe dans un environnement naturel apaisant.

Our twin tatami room was really nice and had beautiful views out to lush green trees. We loved the on site onsen, we found it a great introduction to onsen before going to public ones and it was easy to get a free time slot. The staff were very friendly and we enjoyed having a drink at the bar too. All round amazing value and a great location to explore hakone from.

We loved our stay at Hakone Tent! One of the best accomodations we experienced in Japan. The place is very cool, it is an old house that has been renovated in a way that combines modern and historical style. There is a cozy bar where you can buy reasonably priced drinks and food - I really recommend eating there since there is not a lot of restaurants close to the hostel. There was also two private onsens, the other you could reserve and the other you could visit with no reservations. Both are open 24/7 so
