This hostel had a lovely communal area, including a fire that was lit the whole time I was there. Our private room was basic but what we needed. The downfall was there was a pressure outage in the showers one evening so there wasn’t really any water, I think the issue was corrected shortly after.

Loved it here, nice retreat away from the busy-ness of the city. Big kitchen compared to other hostels, big common area with sofas and tables and lots of space. Staff were super helpful with local information about walks and transport etc. Great place to stay for going out hiking if that's your bag. Rooms were fine, I found this a great place to meet people as you can arrange walks together or socialise in the hostel in the evening.
