Perfect hostel to stay in Cairns. Facilities were cleaned daily, free breakfast, friendly staff and people. Short walk to the centre of Cairns and the stores, but that was of no problem. Rooms were clean, modern and comfortable. Would use Mad Monkey again.

Actually a decent hostel but location really isn’t good, especially if you’re a female solo traveller as cairns is abit sketchy at night, wouldn’t recommend based on location, I accidentally booked not realising the distance so it’s my own fault, also abit weird having to borrow plates from reception
