Quirky beach hostel in the south coast of Sri Lanka offering you the space to surf, meet, mix, play or do some yoga. Whether you are traveling solo or with your crew Beatroot got you covered. Our uber comfortable bedding, colorful social spaces and mouthwatering food will make you feel right at home!
The hostel hosts 22 beds: three 6 bed mixed dorms and one 4 bed female dorm. Cozy bedding, fluffy pillows, free towels, international sockets for your devices, reading light for each bed, air conditioning to beat the heat and free wi-fi to all our guests to stay connected!
Cancellation policy: 48 hours before arrival
Check in from 14:00 to 23:00
Check out 11:00
Payment upon arrival by cash or card

No curfew
Group bookings larger than 4 persons not accepted

One of the best hostels i stayed at. I spent my whole vacation of 2 weeks there and it felt like home. Beds are so comfortable, toilets are very clean and the Chef made the best breakfast i have had even better than 5 star hotels breakfast!!! Beds are made every day!!! Sheehan and Alex are just amazing they make THE BEST coconut milk lattes. And i connected with alot of amazing souls who are now friends :) . Dont think twice and make sure to book long enough because you will definitely extend.

Return to this hostel every time I come back to weligama, good location between merissa and ahangama if you’ve got a scoot. Staff are joy! Facilities are good I always stay in the brick room, nice and dark. Me and the hot shower are personal enemies but seems to work for everyone else haha.
