This pretty Victorian town house on a quiet street in West London, offers a warm and inviting base from which you can explore London.
23 Matheson Road offer en suite showerrooms and free WiFi in the ground floor communal room.
Except when otherwise specified at the time of booking, all bedrooms are cleaned / made up each day by housekeepers during your stay. Accessed by stairs only, each modern, compact room at 23 Matheson Road has a flat-screen TV, a hairdryer and towels.
Breakfast is not included but there are plenty of supermarkets/convenience stores and cafes nearby. You can store some food with us in our compact communal fridge.
Kensington Olympia Exhibition Centre is a 5-minute walk from the property. Hammersmith Apollo, The Royal Albert Hall and Hyde Park are within a 30-minute stroll from guesthouse. Nearby attractions include The Natural History Museum and the V&A. Westfield Shopping Centre is easily accessilble via public transport links.

Cancellation policy: 7 days before arrival by 6pm.
Check in from 15:00 to 23:00 .
Check out before 11:00 .
Reception hours: 3pm-11pm (Live in night porter at property 24/7 but does not work at reception)
Payment upon arrival by credit cards, debit cards only. We do not accept American Express cards.
The cardholder and the card used to make the booking must be present at the time of arrival. The original payment card must be shown upon check-in for a security deposit to be charged. The property does not accept third-party authorisations, virtual cards or company cards.
Guests are required to show a photo identification and payment debit / credit card upon check-in. Please note that we cannot necessarily accommodate any Special Requests and additional charges may apply.

The hotels are unable to accept packages or tickets on behalf of guests.
VAT Invoices can be supplied at any time during guests’ stay in the presence of the card holder and the card used to make the booking.

The room was immaculately clean, which was great! We also appreciated the kettle and tea bags. Overall however, it felt like there were a few things missing that you would normally expect - such as a bedside lamp, a bath mat, and a shelf in the bathroom to keep toiletries.
The bathroom tap was very loose and the TV wasn‘t working.
I also believe the bed was a small double rather than a double as advertised.
It was totally fine but considering the price, I don‘t feel it was value for money.

I loved my stay at 23 Matheson. Such a lovely hotel and the staff is amazing! Reece, Margot and Sam and wonderful.

Great location being within a couple minutes of walking distance to the train, bus stop, grocery, and conveniece stores . The room is "cozy", meaning on the smaller side, but it is Europe, so understandable. The water pressure in the shower was amazing!
The noise level is kind of loud with the room in the back on the ground level, meaning the doors and walls are thin, being able to hear doors slamming and people walking by.
