Surf Base Hostel located in the famous Itamambuca beach, one of the best brazilian surf spots, in Ubatuba - The brazilian capital of Surf!
We have de slogan: 'Come for the waves, stay for the vibe!', with the idea to connect people through the surf, skate and trekking life style.
We are located in the Brazilian Green Coast, surrounded by waterfalls and beaches. Located in the Sao Paulo State, the city of Ubatuba have 92 beaches.
In our hostel we have a mini ramp, surfboards and bikes for rent. Near of markets and beaches, the place is made for those who loves staying in the nature (we are in the middle of Mata Atlântica, a brazilian protected environment), backpackers, surfers and skaters.

Cancellation Policy: 2 days before arrival.In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.

The vibe is amazing thanks to the people and the location (felt like living in the jungle).
Wifi in the common area (outside patio and living room) is working perfectly so if you are a digital nomads with a proper headphone/ micro it’s all good.
On the cons:
The kitchen isn’t suited and needs new équipement, lights, and cleaningness. Same for the indoors showers (the outdoors amenities are newest and much better).
Beware of the dogs’ owner, very cute but very smelly in your dorm..

Upon exit, I said I'd leave a good review.
The owner has poor social skills and needs to work on himself. He's always on the property and he allows his 2 poorly trained Huskies (nice dogs) to run around. No control.

The people who stayed here were super nice. The owner was obsessed with his dogs - they are allowed around the property which is fine but they were also allowed in the rooms which wasn't pleasant. This made the room smell of dog. The facilities were beyond basic - a kitchen full of rubbish utensils - a few forks, a couple of cups, broken fan. I know it's a hostel but you can have basic facilities. I didn't really enjoy my stay here and I personally wouldn't recommend it - not my vibe though .
