The lovely and cozy Hotel Laurel 41 is a small budget hostal in Cancun with 14 rooms and a convenient self-catering kitchen. For your comfort, the property offers different facilities and services: 24-hour front desk/concierge, free Wi-Fi access available throughout the property, linen, towels, soap. Hotel Laurel 41 stands just a 100 m walking distance from the main bus terminal ado that connects Cancun not only with the International Airport, but also with all other main Mexican cities. It is a good starting point for your travels around Mexico as well as a convenient in-between stopping hub between your trips. Everything you need is at hand - the most Mexican street of the Downtown - Calle Yaxchilan, the restaurants, fast food stops and Mexican snack cantinas, the supermarket 'Mega' as well as 24 hrs mini-mart 'Oxxo', and the main avenue of the Downtown - Avenida Tulum - that will take you straight to the beach and Party Zone.
The property offers only private rooms, each with its private bathroom with hot shower, flat screen with cable TV (around 60 international channels), free Wi-Fi. The property offers a wide range of accommodation: double, twin and triple. There is a fully equipped kitchen where the 'Toast and Coffee' is served free of charge every morning.

good location. however the shower does not have a separator and when you take a shower the toilet gets all wet. you have to put a towel at the exit of your bathroom on the floor because the accommodation only gives one per person. the place has 24h reception and is secure. bed is comfortable but pillows are not. It's a place to stay for a night or two. but for the price you can't ask for more

If you’re looking for a cheap bed to stay 1-2 nights, it’s fine. But don’t expect anything more.

I arrived and had booked the cheapest double room for me and my boyfriend. Upon arrival I was told the room I booked was fully booked and I needed to pay 100 pesos more! If I had known that I would have booked another hotel as only booked because it was cheapest. The guy then charged me more money than 100 an extra 47 pesos were charged. And when the owner was explaining it made absolutely no sense and he didn’t care. No soap in room, dirty and uncomfortable pillows. Not worth it at all!
