Unfortunately I was aggressively robbed in Riohacha and lost my keys of the private room, but I had to pay for them anyways - that was not a very friendly way of welcoming a solo traveler after a shocking moment in the city. And I had to sleep with the room not locked because they did not want to give me the second keys. I had a few coins to pay in my pocket for it in the morning though. The security guy from the night helped me to wake up on time to fly cause I had no watch/phone, nice guy.

Very nice hostel, not a big social area but comfy beds with curtains, fans, lights and plugs: basically everything you need!
Good breakfast (not as much the burger for dinner) and free water refils
Shower is an additional 3000 if you don't stay the night on the way back from desert tours
Bath mats would help a lot to keep bathrooms clean

Good choices for breakfast and really clean hostel! Beds have curtains in the dorm which is a bonus! Very nice hostel and worth the money
