Salamanca Rooms is a recently reformed hostel designed to provide comfort and a good stay in Salta City. The building has 12 beautifully decorated rooms: singles, doubles, triples and quadruples (all with private bath, air conditioning and heating). This hostel is ideal for travellers that want to stay in a quiet and friendly place. Our services include bilingual staff, free Wi-Fi, fully equipped kitchen, luggage storage, towels, tourist information, medical assistance, house cleaner service, book exchange, Living with cable TV and it has an Andean cultural library to learn a little more about local culture.
We are located in a very safe area, in front of San Martin Park, only 3 blocks from the bus terminal and 6 blocks from the main square. This location allows you to walk to all the interest points in the city.

Check in from 12:00 to 22:00. It is necessary inform arrival time.
Check out before 10:30 am.
Cancellation policy: 72 hours before arrival.
Payment upon arrival by cash, credit cards.

It’s more an hotel than an hostel. I was in the 8 beds dorm, and there are lots of things to fix there. Only two plugs for the whole room, some of the lockers are stuck behind beds and can’t be open, both doors of the two bathrooms don’t lock, and the one of the toilet don’t even close, which is problematic when you share the space with strangers. The bread served in breakfast is very hard. Good point is the location, very close to the bus station and the city.
