The Dearly Koh Tao Hostel - PADI Dive Center

The Dearly Koh Tao Hostel offers young travelers clean, comfortable, and affordable shared, and private accommodations with PADI diving center on-site. Our exceptional facility is uniquely designed with amenities such as a swimming pool, common rooms, and rooftop terraces. As an eco-friendly hostel, taking care of our planet is our top priority and we hope that you share the same values, the hostel operates sustainably-independently with our own solar cells, generator, as well as water storage and treatment system in order to provide 24/7 utilities.

Operated by Fun-fessional Thai locals, we know how to make you feel at home. Our hostel is filled with a variety of activities bringing us all together. We can't wait to be your friend. The property is separated into 2 buildings, the main building and the expanded unit 'HIDE & SEEK', our expanded unit is located in a separate building, tucked away 2 mins' walk from the main building, surrounded by jungle. GREATER VIEW, stronger legs required. All rooms with Air conditioner and Balcony. The main building has 5 levels, 'HIDE&SEEK' unit has 3 levels, all rooms are upstairs with stairs access only.

1. Check-in Time: from 14:00 to 20:00.
(1) A valid passport (foreigner) or national identical card (Thai citizen) is required and must be presented when checking in.
(2) Without photo identification of passport or national identification card, the hostel cannot check you in. It reserves the right to charge you the first night of your reservation as a result of a late cancellation.

2. Check-out Time: 12:00 (noon).
3. Front desk Time: from 07.00 to 20.00

4. Payment:
(1) Full balance payment is required upon check-in.
(2) Payment is accepted in cash or card (3% surcharge on card payment). Please note that we accept Visa and Master Cards only.

5. Cancellation Policy
The default cancellation policy is 48 hours, any cancellation or modifications must be made at least 48 hours prior to the check-in time (14:00) of the arrival date to avoid a cancellation fee. If cancellations or modifications are made within 48 hours prior to the arrival date, the first night of the reservation will be charged. Except for the high season period and UNLESS the reservation state otherwise. The cancellation policy depends on the period of your stay and the special rate restriction, you may see the policy of your reservation through the reservation details. In the case of a No-Show, the total reservation will be charged. Cancellation or modification can be made from your account or notify the property directly through EMAIL ONLY.

Peak Season Cancellation Policy
Period of JAN-FEB, APR 13-15, JUL-AUG, and DEC cancellations or modifications must be made 7 days prior to arrival date to avoid a late cancellation fee. If cancellations or modifications are made within 7 days but no less than 3 days prior to the arrival date, only the first night of the reservation will be charged. If cancellations or modifications are made within 3 days prior to the arrival date, the total reservation will be charged.

6. Age Restriction:
(1) HIDE & SEEK UNIT is highly suggested for the age between 11 - 40 years old ONLY
(2) Guests under the age of 18, a consent letter from a parent or guardian with contact information is required when checking in.
(3) The bookings made by those under the age of 16 cannot be accepted.
- Guests under the age of 16 are not allowed in any shared room category unless the entire room is reserved for private. The guest may stay in the private room but must be accompanied by their parent, guardian, or an adult 18 years old or older.

7. Extra Bed:
Only the private room with an Ensuite bathroom is allowed for an additional guest.
(1) Superior Ensuite Room allowed a maximum of 1 additional guest.
(2) Deluxe Ensuite Room allowed a maximum of 2 additional guests, given that one of the additional guests is under 6 years old.
- Free of charge for an additional guest aged under 6 years old, given that the child sharing the bed with their parent. 600 additional charges per night are applied for an additional guest age 6 years old or above.

8. Air conditioning in all shared dormitory rooms will be off between 11:30 to 17:00.

9. Group Booking: Depending on availability the hostel cannot guarantee that all members of a group will be assigned the same shared room, but will try our best to make these accommodations.

10. The deposit of 400 THB in cash,100 THB for the key, and 300 THB for the shower towel is required during check-in.
11. All rooms are located on the upper floor, the buildings are stairs access only.
12. Visitors are welcome in the lobby during 07.00-22.00 only, no visitors are allowed in the entire residential area.
13. We reserve the right to refuse the service to any non-cooperator without a refund.
