Offering a terrace and views of the mountains, Hostel-Badgoisern is set in Bad Goisern in the Salzkammergut, 4 km from Lake Hallstatt. Free WiFi is available, and guests can enjoy the on-site bar featuring a flat-screen TV and a darts board you can also play Pool billiard.
Guests can enjoy various activities in the surroundings, including skiing, cycling and hiking. The hostel also offers bike. (at the bike shop, for rent)
In winter, a heated ski storage room is available, and the stop of a free ski bus to the Gosau Ski Area is only a 5-minute walk away. It is quite easy to go with bus or train to visit Hallstatt (only 15 minuts) or to visit fivefinger. The bus station 3 minutes walking, Train station 4 minutes walking. The nearest airport is Salzburg W. A. Mozart Airport, 49 km from Hostel Bad Goisern. Several restaurants and a grocery shop are within a 2-minute walk.
Hostel-Badgoisern offers bunk beds in a mixed dormitory 2 rooms (6 bed and 4 bed) which is heated in winter. Bathrooms are located on the corridor. Bed linen and towels are provided. On request and at a surcharge, breakfast is available every morning. The units at the hostel are equipped with a seating area. The shared bathroom is equipped with a shower and a hair dryer. The rooms will provide guests with a desk and a coffee machine in the shared kitchen.

Cancellation policy: 48 hours before arrival. In the case of a late cancellation, you will be charged 100% of the remaining balance of your booking.
Check in from 16:00 to 23:00, early check in upon request.
Check out from 05:00 to 10:00.

Mainly visiting Hallstatt and the host was super helpful in giving us information. Told us how to get there as well as giving different I formation about other places to visit and things to do. We booked a dorm which would have had one other person in it but the host kindly offered to move us to a private room. Everything was clean and nice. If you’re visiting Hallstatt then this is probably the cheapest accommodation you’ll find nearby. There were games im the kitchen area so we played some und with other

Nice family owned hostel, with good location next to a free parking lot or public transportation to get you down to the downtown Hallstatt area. Absolutely beautiful area and would recommend to anyone.

A lovely hostel! Great location and facilities. Everything was very clean. Owner was very friendly and was helpful on giving you information about things to do in the surrounding areas! 😃
