Mama Backpackers is a cozy and functional hostel that will permit you to experience and enjoy Lima and Peru. We do our best so that you can feel exactly like home, providing FREE BREAKFAST, a large common space is available to get to know with your fellow travelers, watching movies, TV, playing game tables or reading a book.
We love to enjoy the company of people from all around the world in our humble house and keeping this local and family atmosphere that each traveler is looking for.
Mama Backpackers is situated Los Olivos which is the safest and closest district to the airport which is ideal for stopovers, layovers and early morning flights. The Airport of Lima is located 15 minutes way by car, meanwhile it is possible to get several bus connections to go to the center to discover and enjoy some of the finest landmarks of Lima such as Plaza de Armas, Cathedral of Lima and Estadio Nacional del Perú, amongst other interesting spots of the city.
Mama Backpackers proposes really comfy beds (four mixed dorms) in cleaned private and shared rooms, shared Bathrooms with hot showers, as well as including all these features and amenities:
Air-conditioning
Free breakfast served from 7am to 10am
Free kitchen
Free towels
Free lockers access
Free infusions all day ( tea and coca tea)
Free Luggage storage room
Laundry service available
We do not forget our smoker friends so you will find a nice and green roof top so that everyone, smoker or not, can chill out and sipping a beer.

Cancellation policy: 24h before arrival.
Check in from 14:00.
Check out before 12:00.
Payment upon arrival by cash or credit cards
Exchange offices are available within 1-2 minutes walking from the hostel.
ATM also available within 1-2 minutes walking from the hostel.
Taxes included.
Breakfast included.
General:
The reception service is opened from 06.00 to 24.00.
Important: Guests under 18 years old are not allowed.
Please make sure to check in at the time you've chose, let us know if you are late for the check-in, without any information from you within the next 3 hours, Mama Backpackers has the right to cancel your bed.
For security reasons people who are not staying in are not allowed to enter the property.
Be aware that the most friendly cats live in the property.
Lockers are available with no charges, Mama Backpackers declines any responsibility in case of lost.

The host "Mama" was lovely and appreciated her making me breakfast considering the early start for my flight. Facilities are nice and the area is different to experience than one you would find in Miraflores.My only issue is they could correct the address they sent out in their email as it caused some confusion for the taxi.Email address Avenida Antunez de Mayolo 1389 Los OlivosGoogle maps address Av. I stayed at Mama Backpacker’s on three separate occasions during my time in Peru. Justina was incredibly accommodating with allowing me to store some belongings (including a very large bike box) there for about a month, at no extra cost.
They serve a delicious breakfast every morning with coffee, buttery scrambled eggs, homemade bread, freshly squeezed orange juice and homemade jam!
Antonella was also very helpful with finding a safe/locally priced taxi if an Uber wasn’t available due to the size of some of
