7. Double bed capsule maximum for 2 guests. For 1 guest will be the same price.

Max and Osmand were very welcoming. The hostel was super clean and had a really homely vibe. Will definitely be back one day!

Incredible location right off of the old street (hard to find though, as other reviews mentioned). Super clean too, with fantastic hot showers and really kind staff. The dorm beds feel like little capsules, with a ton of privacy, and they're cosy. We really loved this hostel. My only suggestion would be to put a bit of furniture on the roof so we could enjoy the view (that might be a seasonal thing though).

I would love to give this a 10/10 but if you're great at getting lost (read adventure driven for folks who just roll with it like myself) you can easily end up deviating from the very easy directions given and end up going on a fun hunt with luggage up and down the charming maze that is Jiufen. Staff is amazing and super helpful, the amenities are quite nice, and the rooftop is a boatload of charm in and of itself. Definitely recommend staying here!
