Hush Maderas is a boutique hotel located on a short 10-minute walk from the beach Playa Maderas. Hush offers an infinity pool with lounge area, 180 degree ocean views and a yoga deck. On the top floor we have an incredible rooftop where the most amazing sunsets can be watched everyday. Hush is a perfect place to relax, enjoy sunset yoga and surf on the waves that you can find here all year round. We have a work area and high-speed WIFI backed by solar energy.
We are located in Playa Maderas near San Juan del Sur, one of the most marvellous places in Nicaragua. We are near to some of the finest attractions and landmarks of the area such as Cristo de la Misericordia and the Parque de Aventura, amongst other interesting spots in our area.
Our private rooms have spectacular ocean views and our garden dorm view is beautifully overlooking the jungle. All rooms have an ensuite bathroom, wardrobe and luggage space. The garden dorm has six comfortable double beds (bunk beds). We have several common areas where the guests and the travellers will be able to get together and exchange past experiences and future plans.

Payment upon arrival by cash (preferred) or credit card.

Enjoyed chilling at Hush for a couple of days, the free breakfast, sunsets, pool and taco night were great!
But there were a few issues that meant it did not live up to the ‘boutique hotel’ branding.
The toilet in the dorm room smelt really bad, was dirty and not cleaned regularly and some nights many of the double beds in the 6-person dorm were occupied by multiple people which meant that it was very crowded.

Great place, incredible view and good food. Friendly staff and easy to set up messages and yoga and manny other things. Great atmosphere to hang out in and easy to mingle and chat with the other people that are staying there.
Id recommend this place to all my friends, it was a real treat! One issue. the dogs that come in and out was a problem for some people. They daily barking and drama amongst the few dogs was not ideal. I think that should be addressed. The dogs werent mean to ppl, just dogs

This is probably the nicest hostel I’ve ever stayed in. It’s a bit on the pricier side compared to other hostels in the area but it was so worth it. The views are unmatched and you can easily hike to Playa Maderas! It had a chill social vibe and staff were super nice.
