Cafe Cerveza is a relaxing hostel and cafe, were you can fully enjoy the Popoyo atmosphere.
We are located literally 10 meters from the beach on the south part of playa Popoyo, and close to playa Santana.
Cafe Cerveza is also a social enterprise, donated by a Canadian entrepreneur, with the goal to allow local community members to have an opportunity to benefit from the tourism development in their lands.
The project started as a bar/restaurant and through the help of visitors like you, we have been able to grow into a hostal.
Popoyo is home to some of the best surfing spots in the area and our hostal is the place if you are coming surfing, look us up on facebook and google maps, we are a local favorite.
Cafe Cerveza Policies & Conditions:
Cancellation policy: 24h before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.
Check in from 12:00 to 18:00 .
Check out before 11:00 .
Payment upon arrival by cash.
Taxes included.
Breakfast not included.
No curfew.
Pet friendly.
Child friendly.
Non smoking.

Cute, tiny quarters with no locks on doors and less lockers than people, however I felt myself and belongings were completely safe and I felt welcomed like family. Slept well.
Kevin was amazing welcoming me, answering my billion questions and introducing me to a surf spot the first day on his moto.

Private room basic but good for us. Food was also tasty. Annoying that you have to pay for drinking water but it is what it is, and some other hostels in the area do the same. Not far from beginners bay compared to other hostels- so good for surfing.
