Welcome to the Black Forest Hostel in Freiburg. Here, at the valley of a vineyard hill next to a rolling stream travellers can find space and peace as they like. We have a large common space for you to meet other guests and relax.
The hostel is located near the historic part of Freiburg and is easy to reach. 20 minutes walking distance from the main station; or take tram n°1 to `Littenweiler` get out `Oberlinden. 5 minutes walking distance from there.
The Black Forest Hostel offers beds for a good value in dormitories as well as in double and single rooms or triple rooms. Bed linen can be rented for 4.00 EUR per person. Sleeping bags are allowed alternatively.

Check in from 15:00 to 23:00.
Check out before 11:00.
Payment upon arrival by cash, credit cards, debit cards.

Stay was pretty great. Super unique building and hostel altogether. Rooms were big lots of storage, of the 8 beds in the room there was only one bunk bed set.

My only drawback is that anyone can go into any room at any time, as the room doors are not lockable. Otherwise, the location of the Black Forest Hostel is very central, so you can easily reach and explore Freiburg on foot. All rooms and corridors are decorated with small details that contribute to a great coherent overall image of the hostel. The staff is friendly and the rooms are clean.
