Antawara Hostel de Elqui is a cozy tourist complex in the heart of Vicuña. We have shared areas such as kitchen, equipped bar and TV lounge with PS3 and Netflix. Along with trees and balconies with great valley views, in our patio you will find a terrace/ bbq area and a pool. 24 hours staffed, we provide board games and more.
We are located few steps away from the main square and places of interest like museums, tour operators (including astronomical observatories), ice cream parlors, pharmacies and grocery/ convenience stores. We also offer the largest pisco bar in Northern Chile.
We have shared, private, double and matrimonial rooms, in addition to heated cabins (if needed). All fully equipped, with either private or shared bathrooms.

Beautiful oasis in the centre of Vicuña. Great and clean facilities, friendly and helpful staff, lovely breakfast. Perfect place to relax and explore the valley.

Great Hostal and restaurant next door in complex!
We checked out a few others in Vicuna and this one was the best by far!
Great staff, great light rooms, great pool.

I can not recommend this hostel enough! Staff is so friendly and helpful, it is incredibly safe/clean/beautiful, the restaurant (Bar del Pisco) is delicious, and it’s only about a 5 min walk to the heart of Vicuña! I mentioned to the receptionist that it was my 1st time traveling alone and he upgraded me to the “matrimony suite†free of charge to make me feel more comfortable and b/c it was the off season and not many guests where there! Exceeded all of my expectations! Thanks again!
