Hostel Del Mar was opened at 2008 and last renovated in 2016, we have all brand new furnishing and modern facilities, 4 new and beautifully decorated bathrooms with 24h hot water,fully equipped kitchen and open air kitchen as well.
We offer VARIETY of rooms to suit each situation:

I will preface this comment by saying that the owners responsive to my complaints and refunded me the second night when I chose to leave early without hassle. However, this was the only time I’ve left a hostel early. The elderly woman who was managing the hostel should not have been in the situation. She had no English nor customer relations skills and seemed confused. The room had a musky, moldy smell and triggered allergies. There was no lock, someone walked in my single roomduring the night.

The owners were very nice and helpful- ex. took me to the grocery store and gave me a ride to the beach- much appreciated!
The location is quite far from the city center, and it's a suburban neighborhood with nothing around except houses. There is a nice beach a 15-minute walk away but if you don't have a car, you'll be isolated.
The owner stayed on the property; she has a lovely daughter but she's 1.5 years old and cries a LOT. All day the baby was crying, it was hard to focus on work or relax.
