Pagalu Hostel is a cosy hostel located in Puerto Viejo Town, from where it is possible to walk everywhere or hire a bicycle to discover the beautiful surroundings and beaches to Manzanillo.
The hostel has a nice common area with an open style fully equipped kitchen and you can choose between different types of rooms such as: 4 bed dorms, 6 bed dorms or double rooms with a private or shared bathroom. All dorms are mixed, and all double rooms have a queen size bed. Also, hot water is available, and the towels are included.

No curfew.
Child friendly in private rooms.
Not child allowed under 18 in dorms.

One of the best hostels I've ever stayed at. Great location, in the centre close to the bus stop and next to a supermarket. Super clean, also the kitchen (which, as far as hostels go, is rarely the case). Nice and helpful staff, filtered water to fill up empty bottles and spacious, well-equipped dorm rooms.

We loved the chilled, pleasant atmosphere here. Everywhere is super clean, bathrooms, bedrooms and kitchen. Very friendly, helpful staff. Would definitely recommend and stay here again!

This hostel was great! Clean, great places to hang out, friendly staff. The only complaint would be there was no air in the rooms so it got very hot and the beds were not the most comfortable. Other than that I loved it!
