We are located in an old prison industrial building that is fully redesigned and ready to host frequent solo travelers, friends or even families. Our rooms varies from dorm beds to modern suites equipped with private kitchen and private bathroom.

Cancellation policy: 30 days before arrival. In case of late cancellation or no-show, the full amount will be charged.
Check in from 15:00 to 23:00 .

This was my first hostel experience and it worked perfectly! We came on the off season so by our last night we were the only ones in the female dorms. The first few nights we met some very nice people, and everyone was respectful.
The hostel is right next to a preschool, so you know it’s in a safe area which is perfect because the doors to the outside don’t lock.
We were given bedding and a towel to use for our stay which was extremely helpful and the lockers had keys so they locked.

The hostel is great for chilling out and relaxing. I loved the garden area and the house cat! It's a half hour/ 40 min walk to town, and easy enough to get the bus. The rooms were clean, and they provide free lockers with super soft towels! The kitchen got a bit dirty but that was mainly due to travellers not washing up their own stuff. Website does say that it has laundry facilities but this isn't true. A happy end to my trip regardless.

The Local Hostel was a great place to stay! The room was very clean and spacious, the staff were super kind and helpful. The only challenge with the location is the bus system was confusing to get back to the hostel from the Old Town. The door to our dorm didn't seem to lock with the key provided. The kitchen was large, clean, and well equipped. Overall, we had a great stay and would come back!
