Bak A Yaad Hostel and Cottages is the perfect accommodation for backpackers and travelers looking for an authentic Jamaican experience with a chill vibe. We accommodate all types of traveler's from staying in your own private cottage equipped with kitchenettes, to single private rooms and both 6 and 8 bedroom mixed dormitories. We are a sociable hostel and offer transportation to the beach daily, bicycles, cinema night, bar hopping, bbq's. Experience weekly nightlife or sing karaoke on the beach, we will make sure your stay exceeds your expectations. The property offers many activities: a swimming pool, ping pong, board and card games, and video game room.

Cancellation policy: 72h before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.
Check in from 13:00 to 21:00 .
Check out before 11:00 .
Payment upon arrival by cash, credit cards, debit cards.
Can't accept Diners card
3% service fee will be charged in case of payment with a credit card.
This property may pre-authorise your card before arrival.

This hostel is in a great location in Negril right across from ricks cafe. Had an excellent stay. My criticism would be to put more options in the hostel dorms. Small improvements could have made a difference in my stay. Hooks for towels. Shelf’s for charging and an option for ac in the dorms. I toured the cottages and they seem to have all the amenities but at over $100 a night which compared to other options in the area may be a bit overpriced. I would have stayed longer and paid more for an dorm with Ac.

Genuinely the best hostel stay I have ever had in my life. I’m so heartbroken to have to leave here. I will always be back. Always. The staff is extremely caring and hardworking. They make sure we always have what we need and the property stays very clean. Gated community with cameras around the property. The atmosphere is absolutely gorgeous, filled with greenery and fruit trees of all sorts. Comfortable and safe. JoAnna is the sweetest most beautiful host! It’s great because she is always on the property

The hostel was in a really serene space with lots of shrubbery in the grounds which was great. The room was spacious and well equipped with everything we needed and strong wifi.
It would have been great if the social area had free tea and coffee so more people met there, the pool was also really nice. It was a bit quiet when we visited and not too sociable so the room felt a little overpriced as there was other similar accommodation for cheaper.
