The Space

The Space is a boutique lifestyle experience for the modern traveller. We cater to adventurous souls, location-independent nomads and everyone else who has a holistic approach to experiential travel and a keen eye for detail.

Located in the middle of pristine Nicaraguan jungle - 10 to 15 minutes drive from San Juan del Sur - on the way to the popular Northern surf beach Playa Maderas, there is no better place to experience everything the bustling surf town has to offer.

the SPACE is also proud to be one of the venues for the legendary SUNDAY FUNDAY pool crawl parties on Sundays from 18:00 - 21:00. Please check the schedule for when we're hosting and be aware of this when making your booking. We encourage all of our guests to take part in this uniquely San Juan experience from start to finish! With 16 en-suite rooms, two pools, a swim-up bar & restaurant, yoga deck, mini permaculture farm, jungle picnic lawn, outdoor gym and remote work centre (mid 2022), there really is a space for everyone and everything - just as the name suggests! We rock 50mbps fibre wifi and have a generator, so we're pretty much always online. Perfect for digital nomads!

Choose from: 8 sleeper dorms (with or without AC); Private Rooms (with or without AC) or our luxurious Suites (with or without AC). Rooms include all the creature comforts.

Shuttles leaves the SPACE at 07:00, 11:00, 14:00, 17:00 and 19:00 and returns from IKAL (a restaurant in the Main Street) at 07:30, 11:30, 14:30, 17:30 and 19:30. Each trip costs $2pp.
