Overall our stay at Homey Hostel was lovely. The volunteer staying when we were there was Anna, she was amazing! So helpful and enthusiastic and gave us loads of recommendations for Ipoh. Beds were comfy and facilities were basic but good. The only thing i would say is that there isn’t much of a common/chill out area, but we went out for drinks with everyone and that was very lovely! Thankyou!! xx

+ : the staff nicely sent us the info to allow us a self check-in outside the check-in hours- : the noise and the cleanliness. If you are not tolerant to sounds and noises, you won't be able to sleep well even with noise canceling caps. The bedsheets and the towels had stains In the bathroom, we showered with the mop next to us. There were insects and webs too. The last negative point is the non-working AC. Only the fan was working. We wouldn't have stayed more than one night even if we had too.
