We are located in the heart of Norway's Lofoten Islands, nestled in between the trees on the shores of Lake Steira. We love to bring like-minded travelers together and create a space where you can fully experience all the outdoor adventures on the islands.
At Furu you will find minimalistic and stylish dorms, private rooms and apartments. Our interior is inspired by the beautiful nature around us and each room has its own unique design with views over our lake or the mountains surrounding us. Our Café serves seasonal, locally-sourced vegetarian and pescatarian dishes which will fuel you up for all the adventures ahead.

This hostel had everything; a sauna, cooking hut, fire pit, on the lake w/ kayak rental, stunning views and so much more. I would stay here again in a heart beat!

I loved this hostel! I came during the off season so the cafe and reception weren’t ever really open. But they had cute little events like an outdoor movie and group sauna time! I honestly wish I had stayed longer I loved it so much.

Nice place with good communal spaces. Was really clean, the check-in process was easy, and everyone staying there was nice. It’s important to know that the hostel isn’t actually in Leknes, it’s pretty far out of the town itself so having a car will be important. There’s a microwave and kettle that can be used but no stove top so plan to do easy cooking (the staff were fairly reliable about cleaning the dishes). Overall really great, I payed less than I thought I would for somewhere so remote.
