Life for Life Hostel Drake Bay

Owner and the chef were super friendly and amazing people. peaceful location in jungle direct beach access. You must pay a boat to bring you from drakes or hike 10km on jungle trail to get there. hostel charges more for meals than in Drakes, and they also charge to use the kitchen since it’s difficult for them to bring in gas canisters. Some of the guests would walk 1.5 hours to get groceries and then pay $25 for a quad bike to shuttle them back. Would stay again but plan accordingly!

Our Stay at Life For Life was amazing. Everyone was super kind and helpful, the food of the restaurant is amazing. And also the location. For us the stay at Life for Life was one of our highlights throughout our trip in Costa Rica! Be aware that there is no supermarket close by and bring enough food for your stay :)

Truly amazing place.The view from the hostel is incredible. The beach is like something out of a movie. And the staff is some of the kindest, most friendly and helpful people we have met!
