Payment upon arrival by cash, credit cards.

Breakfast included.
Reception Hours 10:00 am to 15:00 pm and 17:00 to 21:00.
Surcharge for credit card payment 4.6%
No curfew.

Sam, the cook, bartender, driver, guide and owner makes this place special. Sam runs his establishment with heart and it shows. Sam has cooked all over the world and his talent shows as he makes you breakfasts and dinners. His cocktails are delicious. The location of the hostel is great. Do not miss La Fábrica de Aurora if you come to San Miguel… and it is a 10 minute walk from Meson Amelia.

Great place to stay in San Miguel, best hostel breakfast I’ve had courtesy of Sam who’s also chef of the restaurant in the same building. V clean, and staff all so nice, Sam super helpful and generous. Quiet when I was there so recommend especially if you want a nice spot and not wanting a party hostel. 100% recommend, a lovely stay.

I had a great experience staying at Meson Amelia on my trip to San Miguel de Allende. I arrived late from the Queretaro airport and the owner Sam was very gracious to wait for my arrival. The stay included delicious breakfasts cooked by a chef! The hostel was located in a nice quiet area and was only a short walking distance to the city center and other sites. The staff had great recommendations for activities/ food and the other guests were just as lovely and enjoyed meeting them! 10/10!
