The Bearded Dad Hostel is built on my wife's childhood home and is like a little gem in the heart of Tirana. The 2-story villa is situated in a tranquil alley, only a few steps from Bulevardi Zogu I, with lots of cafes, shops, and restaurants. All the main sights and attractions that Tirana has to offer are located within walking distance from our Hostel.
It offers great outdoor space on both sides of the villa, to enjoy on the warm and sunny days, as well as a lot of indoor space with different living areas.
Toptani Shopping center is located 1 Km from the Hostel and Ring Center is located 1.4 KM from the Hostel. Within 500 meters you can find Skanderbeg Square.
Our hostel is the perfect setting to enjoy Tirana and create wonderful memories of Albania!
The Bearded Dad Hostel Terms & Conditions:
Cancellation policy: 2 days before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.
Check in from 14:00 to 22:00 .
Check out before 10:00 .
Payment upon arrival by cash.
Taxes included
Breakfast not included.
Reception hours 08.00 to 22.00.

One of the rooms has no air conditioning (the one I stayed in) which is a huge issue overnight in the summer heat of Tirana; another issue is that the guests do not receive keys to enter the hostel despite it being locked 24/7, meaning you need to buzz in every time you return after leaving and can't stay out later than the owner goes to bed. The atmosphere was very lacklustre also. In saying all of that, the owner is a very nice guy who takes the time to answer any questions you might have and keeps the pl

Good location, no air con in the rooms so very hot. Quite weird vibes of the people staying there - and they charge extra for towels

The Bearded Dad Hostel is a great place to stay in Tirana. The rooms and bathrooms were incredibly clean and the beds were very comfortable. Dolsin was a great host (second only to Shadow, the dog). We got our own key to come and go and everyone had their own locker with a provided key. I cannot recommend the Beaded Dad Hostel enough!
