We believe in comfort and transparency, as our name suggests we are For Rest.
The heritage property is centrally located in Mumbai, with modern amenities and beautiful murals. Forrest Hostels is placed in the epicenter of a local community market that has fresh produce, shoes and clothes vendors, grocery stores, and bakeries. The neighborhood has a wide range of options for food, from local to really fancy restaurants and bars. We are 15 mins from the airports and have great connectivity for local transportation.
Our rooms are:
- Air-conditioned
- Fast speed Wifi
- Dual locker facilities
- Free towels and shower gels provided
- Complimentary tea & coffee materials provided
- Common washrooms are cleaned 4x times a day
- RO filtered UV treated drinking water available
Hostel policies and rules:
1. Check-in: 11am onwards Check-out: 11am (next day)
2. Cancellation policy: 1 day prior to arrival
3. Payment upon arrival by cash, UPI, or card
4. No alcohol or illicit substances allowed
5. Age restriction 18-50 years old
6. No smoking in rooms except in designated areas.

Super clean and the showers work flawlessly.
But the overall experience was still pretty bad. They have a rule that you are not allowed to remain in the common after checkout, even if you just have to wait for a train for some hours. I have never seen anything like that in any other hostel, a no go to me. Additionally the staff doesn't really talk to the guests at all and the atmosphere is somewhat weird.

Nice hostel for accessibility to the airport, but not practical for exploring the city. A bit out of the way and in a run down part of Mumbai. Staff were lovely and hostel was clean, secure as needed codes to get into hostel and into your room. Not a great to meet other backpackers and we were in a room where people were up to 1am chatting with lights on. Overall a nice hostel just bad location and disruptive guests.

This is the cleanest Hostel I have stayed in in India. It is a bit far away from the main attractions but therefore close to the Airport.
One thing that has really upset me, is that you are not allowed to stay in the Hostel after check-out. You can not even leave your luggage there!! That has never happened to me before in no place in this world. My flight was in the evening and I was not allowed to hang out in the common area but they expected me to wait on the streets with my luggage.
