Welcome to paradise!
Jaba Jan is the perfect place to disconnect from the loud city life and reconnect with yourself, friends, and/or family. Here you can experience different types of nature. The hostel is surrounded by the jungle, and we have access to 5 private beaches and a river, right in our backyard. By kayak, you can access a magic mangrove, our secret peace of heaven on earth. By a little walk or swimming by the river, you can reach the river mouth, where the river meets the sea. On top of it, you can have a great view of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta.
We organize a lot of group activities, such as our classic pizza night, made in our traditional pizza oven. We also have yoga every morning and afternoon, and dance classes very often. It is the perfect opportunity to meet fellow travelers and spend a delightful time.
We have available breakfast, lunch, and dinner at a friendly price, always with vegetarian and vegan options, as well as a variety of drinks and snacks. There is a shared kitchen, fully equipped.
Find us just 3km away from Palomino, right after San Salvador´s river bridge.

We loved our stay here! Great social vibe and everyone was lovely! The staff were amazing and so helpful, everywhere was clean. Especially enjoyed the yoga and meditation classes which were free for guests!
Access to private beach was excellent and the food was great!
Such good value for money and great experience, can’t recommend this place enough!

What a wonderful hostel! Raw, real, genuine Colombian jungle surrounds a chill vibe cultivated by kind staff. The yoga volunteer Kris is fantastic and leads free morning yoga and free nighttime meditation. They set up tons of activities and the cook is always thrilled to prepare something delicious for you. I’m a gluten free vegan and had no trouble eating. It’s a really special place and is so hard to leave. A private experience of the beaches and rivers Palomino has to offer.

amazing location by the river, i loved to stay a bit outside of palomino. people get stuck there, it’s super chill!
