Located within the heritage city of George Town Penang, 111 Hutton Lane is a guest house that welcomes all travellers from around the globe to have a warm stay.
Previously a historic hotel with Early Modern-style architecture building. Upon starting operation since October 2022, the building has been restored with a modern yet minimalistic touch, filled with natural sunlight - offering a clean and cosy vibe to our guests. It only takes a 5 - 10 minutes walking distance from our building to visit George Town's UNESCO sites and places of attraction, discovering street arts, cafes, food haven places and even night markets.
Feel almost like home at 111 Hutton Lane, with comfortable beds and facilities, 2 Instaworthy common areas provided within the building - furnished with LED TV and bean bags to sit back and relax on some lazy evenings; a dining table and couple of tables and chairs to eat or even work with your computer.
Our shared bathrooms are equipped with clean toilets (bidets and toilet papers), hot showers, big mirrors, and hairdryers.

3-Single Bunk Bed in a female room; and
***We have 2 house cats (Nicky &Chuchu) who will mostly be chilling within the common area
Important information:
- Reception Hours from 11:00 to 20:00
- Check in from 14:00 to 20:00
- Check out from 08:00 to 11:00
- Payment upon arrival by cash
- Fees charged for late check-in and late check-out
- Taxes included
- Guest must be above 18 years old
- Breakfast not included
- Main Entrance will be locked from 20:00 to 11:00
- Smoking not allowed in room; but we have certain smoking area.
- Cancellation policy: 72h before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay

The room was not clean at all: stains in the bed sheets, dirty washbasin, old clothes everywhere in the room and a really really constant bad smell.
We could also find cat hair everywhere.
Really bad isolation also.
The person in charge of keeping the hostel by night and welcoming us was drinking and obviously drunk.

We felt so lucky to have found this hostel. Situated in a perfect location, the hostel is run by the lovely Moon and her two adorable cats. From the moment we checked in we were made to feel very welcome and right at home. The dorm room was immaculately clean, with comfortable beds and decent secure lockers. Bathrooms are also spotless! The hostel has a really nice chilled vibe, lots of plants and a lovely common area with bean bags and a swing chair - even a guitar you can use if you fancy it! Having the c

Such a nice hostel with amazing staff. The place is very clean and the beds are comfy. Showers have nice pressure and hot water. The place is kept really nice loved all the plants and the two cutest kittens you’ve ever seen. Munirah is such a nice host she makes you feel so welcomed, there’s a very friendly vibe to the hostel not like a party hostel but everyone chills in the common area and chats. Overall we really enjoyed our stay. Thank you Munirah!!
