The hostel isnice for a day or two in San Jose. We booked the private room because of our long flight from home. Honestly you don’t have much privacy and the room is located in the middle of the common area and right next to the kitchen.. you are really on display if you want to have the door or window open to refresh the room.
Apart from this the room was nice - comfortable beds and enough space. The host does not speak English, but is very helpful! It is clean enough! Nice for 1 or 2 days!

Nice family run hostel, some fruit and toast for breakfast and good value! The only downfall was there was no lockers and I didn’t have a plug point near my bunk.

Honestly couldn’t recommend this hostel enough if you are staying in San Jose. We’ve been in three hostels in san jose and this is by far the best!! It is so so clean, the kitchen is so spacious and tidy, the showers are hot and the free breakfast is amazing :)
