We enjoyed our stay at Mad Vervet. It's a nice old house with a big garden in a safe but uneventful area. It has a friendly atmosphere. Staff are nice but often can't find them. We were put in the separate house which seems to have been a bit forgotten. Could do with some more seating or hammocks in the garden so you can enjoy it. No mosquito nets on the beds but the mosquito plug works quite well.

It's a very nice premise with a great lobby and everything you expect from a hostel. Rooms were super-clean and staff was always nice and helpful. Wi-Fi was a little weak on my bed, so I ended up using mobile data (local SIM card is easy to get and data bundles are cheap)

Mad Vervet is amazing! The beds are very comfortable & the common room is large & welcoming, & the kitchen is well stocked. My favorite was garden: it's huge & makes for a beautiful nature retreat from the dust and pollution of Nairobi. Daniel is such a friendly guy and hospitable manager!
One thing: the correct address is the one listed on the website (I received a different address in my email confirmation, which made things a bit confusing!)
Also, bring bug spray: NBO is mosquito paradise!
