SIHOSTEL - Adventure San Ignacio is located right in the centre of San Ignacio within walking distance of the well preserved Jesuit ruins. The hostel has a very relaxing atmosphere and offers a number of outdoor activities that will help you get in touch with nature.
Property Description
San Ignacio is a place where you will be able to find harmony between the village and nature allowing you to get to know the history of the region whilst offering you the opportunity to take part in outdoor activities. You can kayak on Parana River, trek and cycle through botanical parks (with or without guides) and horse ride. You can also visit the house of the writer Horacio Quiroga.
To help you relax we have a large garden with a swimming pool, Paraguayan hammocks, a pool table and a football table as well as a DVD player and play station. We also offer free internet (including WiFi).
Our bilingual staff are always on hand to help you make the most of your stay.

Great hostel, especially with a pool. The staff are really sweet and helpful. Lots of work ongoing - there was a brand new bathroom in our room but the paint was peeling off the walls in other places and the lock to the bedroom kept breaking. Would have appreciated lockers in dorm rooms. Great location - 20 mins walk to bus stop and ruins.

Overall the building is very beautiful (by a famous Argentinian architect In the 50s) but run down. Needs some fresh paint but is rather clean.Rooms & bed ok but a bit small. Tiny shower in some of the rooms (ask). Pool ok, need to buy new umbrellas.
Breakfast plain (bread, jam, cake) but sufficient. Offer dinners (ok).
They don’t provide a lot of info but if you ask they will refer you to the only agency in the village and arrange some trips for you.
No atmosphere at all.
