Located in a beautiful, residential neighborhood, the International Student Center (ISC), is a landmark brownstone, located in Manhattan on the Upper West Side. As a small and centrally located hostel, you'll find charm, comfort, and convenience here. We are a ½ block to Central Park, restaurants, cafes, shops, and the subway. Museums, iconic sites, food markets, and other amenities nearby. Depending on your preference and budget, we offer several room types: mixed dorm style rooms, small private rooms, and a family/friends private suite.
Our newly refreshed common areas include: the Reception Room, Arts for PEACE Gallery, Lounge, Dining Area, Community Kitchen, and Garden.
We welcome students, lifelong learners, and world travelers, from near and far. One of the absolute best parts about staying in a place like ours, is getting to make new friends from corners of the world. Whether traveling solo or with a group, you are welcome here.

まあ、寝るだけなら悪くはないかなという感じです。清潔感はないです。シャワーのとことか汚かったです。大きいスーツケースは部屋の中にもっていけません。リュックとかがあると便利です。古い建物なので、歩くとみしみし音が立ちました。階段とか危ないです。

Good: Price (one of the cheapest hostel in NYC); Location (near to Manhattan); Security (located in a safe area). Bad: Unstable wifi connection (particularly in the evening when more people use the internet); Some bunk beds in a dorm were pretty old and creaked; I was embarrassed by some stupid ladies who complained about my snoring on the first day of my stay (although this was not a fault of the hostel). Overall, this hostel is a good option if you look for a cheap stay in NYC!!
