Jorge, Flores and Corvo are the nine islands that make up the archipelago of the Azores and all of them is easy to become passionate. Some of the activities to enjoy are: Horse riding, hiking, whale watching, rock climbing, cave exploration.

No one present at front desk throughout most of afternoon. Non specific sign at front desk stating to "call" with an arrow pointing, I yelled with no answer and no phone numbers provided.
Keys to be left at front desk, keys not assigned to room occupants for duration of stay.
Fantastic view of ocean. Fair WiFi service. Bring earplugs as cows in backyard wear cowbells.
Supermarket within walking distance.

Much more nice than I expected. Only negative thing was a tiny bit of dirt on the walls, otherwise: big and clean bathroom with really hot water, a lot of space, kitchen for guests, nice breakfast, great view ;-)

This is a great place to stay. The people who work here are friendly and very helpful. The entire place is extremely clean and the view is incredible. If you are coming to Sao Jorge to hike, it is better to stay here than in Velas, because you are closer to the trails. Be prepared to either rent a car or hitchhike though. No public transportation. The breakfast is disappointing, but there's a supermarket nearby. Taxi back to airport is 15 euros. I had an awesome visit and loved this island!
