Good location. Showers a little dirty. Rooms were nice and private. However charged us 1,000 yen more than what it said we were supposed to pay in person online.

This hostel was located near the subway (about a 1-2 minute walk) and a short walk to Yasaka Shrine & Maruyama Park. The staff was extremely courteous and friendly despite speaking only Japanese. It was a very small but nice atmosphere with a common area to meet other travelers. I enjoyed my stay here!

It was a really nice hostel with a cool historical atmosphere. My room was really nice and I like that they gave you tge area above to relax in. The hakata was nice for the cold as well. It was really strange having no staff the entire time I was there but the instructions were good.
Unfortunately they do allow smoking and it seeps in everywhere in the hostel
