Occasionaly, deer gets into the garden of Tamura and may surprise you. Nara Park, Todaiji-temple, Kohfukuj-temple, Gangoji-temple and yet many more spots are within walking distance. Best location for Nara walk.

Lovely stay in Nara, the owners are very kind!

Just a nice place with a great host. Might need a little bit more insulation in the cold. Very close to the park and all other places. I would also recommend the small Toy museum a visit.

The hostess goes above and beyond to make you feel at home and comfortable.
Others have mentioned best breakfast in town, but they also have a Japanese-style bath as well as a shower that everyone should try.
