It is the international BUDGET hostel so it’s in the name - shared toilet between many people, no towels etc, really basic facilities. Amsterdam is expensive and what they charge relative to other hostels is good value for money however don’t expect the same luxuries you might get in a Spanish hostel (for example) for the same price. Staff very friendly & all necessities are available to buy or rent (for a price). Lots of people who smoke weed go there bc there is a smoking (weed only) room.

International Budget Hostelは言う
We're in a traditional canal building just around the corner from Leidseplein, which is one of the main nightlife and entertainment areas in Amsterdam. On a 10-minute walk you can find some of the main museums, such as Anne Frank House, the Van Gogh museum and the Rijksmuseum. In a 15-minute walk you're in the heart of the Red Light District. On a warm day, I think the Vondelpark is a wonderful place to hang out, and if you're looking for quirky souvenirs the Flower Market is a great place to go.
We offer guests the opportunity to book several tours, like free city tours, bike tours and pub crawls. We also rent out bikes to guests.
We pay a lot of attention to detail here here and hygiene is a priority. Because it's a hostel there's not much luxury, but you can definitely expect to have a clean bed and shower.
