Like many, I didn't expect the property to be so far from the Greyhound bus stop. I think the hostel ought to put on a shuttle bus, as the only option you have currently is getting a taxi from what seems to be the only local firm. No meter, so prices seem to be a bit random, and the less people you have to share it with, the more expensive it will be. No labelling system for food seemed a bit strange, and there were moldy vegetables in the kitchen. Otherwise, the rainforest location is great.

Loved this place, if you like nature and quiet then it's for you. Set in the rainforest away from everything, picturesque location, it's not too far to walk to the nearest beach and also local trails. Staff were nice and super helpful, and this hostel is by far the cleanest I've stayed in yet! Cafe and bar on site is nice too for coffee / snacks etc. The showers are decent and kitchen ok size for how busy it was when I stayed. Kitchen closes early tho - no cooking can be started after 8.30pm!

great hostel, nice and relaxed atmosphere, hard to reach without a car, there’s a shuttle from the greyhound bus stop, price depends on how many people are on it tho, kitchen was super clean
