Yaxche Centro is less than 100 meters from various shops and restaurants.
The hostel has free parking and free Wi-Fi.
WE HAVE A BEACH CLUB WITH ACCESS TO THE LAGOON.

The property is 500 meters from the Fort of San Felipe Bacalar and 900 meters from the beautiful lagoon of Bacalar.

This hostel is horrible!Don't stay there! Diego is extremely rude. His goal is to make your stay as miserable as possible. He goes out of his way to make you uncomfortable. He yelled at me for grabbing an extra pillow when they were 5 empty beds in the room. Harrased me to clean dishes that were not mine and said if I didn't I would not get my deposit back.He kicked a girl on the street for no reason at 10pm.Toilets don't flush, don't have clean towels and tp 90% of the time. List goes on...

The staff were very nice, the hostel looked like itâ€™s as built and cleaned in 1800. The pillows were under the bottoms sheet so they didnâ€™t have to use a pillow case.

Side-note: I camp and sleep outside for fun, Iâ€™m not fussy and love eco-places. However, this hostel was WEIRD vibes and frankly was a rip-off for what is provided. Extra hidden charges added when you check-in which sucked. The bathrooms / showers are passable and breakfast is OK but neither are good enough to justify Â£17 per night. Kitchen is crap. Zero vibes or activities - even though this is advertised. For the sake of balance, the staff were nice enough and the rooms had powerful AC. Iâ€™m sorry to leave a bad review but I wouldnâ€™t recommend to stay here unless you get a good deal on prices.
