In a quaint 17th-century house in center of town, this simple hostel is 3 km from the A6 highway or accessible by public transport.
Dorms come with wood-beamed ceilings, bunk beds and private shower/toilet. Private rooms are also available, and camping is permitted in the gardens. Off-street parking and bike storage are free. Amenities include a communal kitchen, a common room, emergency grocery, and gardens.

Usually I don’t leave reviews on hostels but I had to for this one. It cannot be stressed enough that Patrick, the guy who runs the hostel, is an absolute gem. He’ll tell you everything you need to know about the area, it’s hiking/bouldering spots, and will do anything to make your stay more comfortable. He’s a lovely lovely guy and you should honestly stay here just for him. Other than that, the dorms are clean and comfortable, the kitchen is large and easy to use, and the common areas big enough for large

Patrick was great and took the time to tell me where the best local bouldering spots and eating spots were. WiFi only works in the common area, but some the bedrooms are primarily for sleeping this isn't a big deal. Highly recommend.

Patrick, if it isn’t evident from all the other reviews, is an excellent host. He was extremely accommodating and gave us a rundown of all amenities in the hostel and around La Chapelle-la-Reine. He offered suggestions for getting to the closest climbing areas without a car and made us feel very welcome. The hostel had a great easygoing, community vibe. Crashpads are available for a low price. Highly recommend for anyone exploring the area or getting some climbing in!
