Hostel Vista Serena is the first hostel in Manuel Antonio designed for young people. We are recommended by the Lonely Planet guide and the Hostelling International. Set on a mountain, surrounded by jungle, with awesome views of the Pacific Ocean, the hostel is the perfect place to experience the peace of paradise and the thrill of local attractions.
Our hostel is specially designed for foreign visitors. You get the rainforest and Costa Rica's most beautiful beach, and still have all of the comforts of home.
We run a small, secluded hostel, and offer personalized services to our guests. Our goal is to cater to the individual - with a little Costa Rican touch!

wow! Juan easily made this my best stay in Costa Rica. He was lovely, friendly and helpful. I felt right at home! Also, one of the best sunsets I've ever seen and trust me, I've seen many lol.

Very nice hostel! 10 min car from Manuel Antonio. Manfred and Junior are super nice and helpful. Facilities are basic but the view from common area is simply amazing. There is AC in the dorms (maybe even too cold at some point) and hot water.

Very very friendly and helpful staff.
Atmosphere good and huge common area/balcony very good for socialising.
Location good for peace and quiet but a bit out of the way of the main town up the hill (if that’s your thing) although very easy and cheap to get the bus in.
Dorms small, I was bottom bunk but seemed tough to get up and down from the top.
Air con and fan very good in room.
