Geckos Hostel

Discover the magic island and enjoy the relaxing and comfortable atmosphere of our fully equipped hostel in the heart of Lagoa da Conceicao, a wonderful lagoon located in the touristic heart of Florianopolis, close to beautiful beaches, sand dunes, bars, clubs and restaurants.
We have a bautiful sun-drenched pool, a big garden, contortable common areas with hammocks, bar, living room, tv room , pool/ping pong table; we have a big kitchen where you can prepare your own food.

Please, be infomed that during New Year(26/12-05/01) , Carnaval time(17/02-22/02) and all the national holidays, 100% ot the total price of the reservation is charged in advance ; in case of cancellation informed more then 20 days before the check in day , 50% of the amount paid to the hostel, is refunded; there is no free cancellation for the period mentioned above. Please, observe that in order to confirm the bookings for all the Other periods , the first night is charged in advance( refundable in case of cancellation informed at least 48 hours before check in day).

Geckos Property is powered by solar panels, much of our furniture has been made with recycled wood. We make a separate collection of waste materials in order to run our property in an eco-friendly way.

Rates include linens, fast free WIFI , pool table, ping pong table, body boards, board games and beach toys. A delicious breakfast and a quick laundry service are available on charge. During the day we do amazing trips all over the island and in the night we prepare typical Brazilian bbq's .
We rent kayak, bikes, motos, cars, we arrange special prices for activities such as surfing, kitesurfing, windsurfing, paddleboarding, rafting and paragliding classes.
