A quiet and safe place, close to the city centre. And staff was pretty nice.

Staff talk really loudly in the common areas during the day and at midnight. Not many travelers stay here, just seems to be staff. A 20 minute walk from the centre uphill.

The hostel is in a pretty good location, near Savassi. My friend and I stayed for only one night, so we did not get to know other people there. Important to say that the hostel does not offer breakfast. Also, showers and bathroons are for both men and women, which made me a bit unease. Overall, staff was pretty nice to us and our room was clean
